Powerful Spiritual Crystals and Stones

"Out of this world!"

Tektite:

So what exactly is a tektite? The origins of this magical stone have been the subject of debate for many years. One theory is that tektites were formed from volcanic eruptions and the other theory is that tektites were formed from meteorite impacts. Popular opinion generally believes in the latter. When the molten glass matter plummeted to the earth, it cooled and hardened forming various shapes such as teardrops, balls, and dumbells. The word tektite is Greek in origin, literally meaning "molten". Tektites are usually black or brown in color. The stones take on a different texture after they have been polished, appearing much more glossy and smooth. Although they are found all over the world, the largest areas where tektites have been found in in China and Australia.
Tektite is an extremely good meditation stone. It is said that because it is such a high vibration stone, it is useful for extraterrestrial communication and can enhance psychic abilities. It is also used to treat physical illness and is effective in clearing all of the chakras. The stone has a vibration number of 9 and does not need to be charged, as tektites do not retain any negative energy. Tektites are around a 6 or 7 on the hardness scale, making them a favorite for everyday use. I have used tektites during sleep time and  my dreams became more vivid and clear. The stone can also be placed under your pillow with a clear crystal quartz stone to enhance both of the stones qualities. This stone is on my top ten list of recommended crystals for your spiritual journey. Tektites are a truly magical stone, easily earning the title "out of this world".

Find "Your Hidden Symmetry"

Your Hidden Symmetry by author Jean Haner was a very insightful and enjoyable book. The first thing about the book that I absolutely loved was how easy it was to get started. The book is based on the Chinese Nine Star Ki system, which is not at all like traditional numerology. To get started, you need only your birth month, day and year which you look up in the included Nine Star Ki chart. I was really surprised at how accurate the information I received was, not only for myself, but also my family. It covers with very good detail, the positive and negative aspects of one's personality, covers careers and life callings, emotional self, and a very informative chapter by Louise Hay called "Affirmations for Each Stage of Your Journey". I would very highly recommend this book for anyone. You can learn a lot about yourself and others and have some fun while doing it. You will not be disappointed in the depth and detail of the information you'll receive. The book can surely help you on your life's path.

Angel Detox

While there are tons of books out there today on detox and healthy diets, to me, this book stands out from the rest. Angel Detox by Doreen Virtue & Robert Reeves, N.D. does a great job in integrating spirituality with diet. You can spend alot of time researching these topics, but Doreen has made it easy, by simplifying information and covering alot of ground. If your wanting to detoxify your body and start eating right, but at the same time want to incorporate things like crystal healing, flower therapy, essential oils and angel therapy, this is a great place to start. There are chapters on detoxing your emotions, energy and home, along with various 7-day detox plans for you to choose from. There are separate chapters on herbs and vitamins and aromatherapy and essential oils. Lots of information! Some recipes are included in the book, relating to food, using essential oils, crystal usage and visualizations. While this is not a cookbook, it does give you enough information on what to eat, what supplements to take and what foods to stay away from, such as GMO foods, and Doreen does include a list of the GMO's. Prayers are also included in the detox plans, associated with different archangels. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and it will be one in my collection that I refer to often. The Numerology Guidebook: Uncover Your Destiny and the Blueprint of Your Life by Michelle Buchanan

I cannot say enough about The Numerology Guidebook: Uncover Your Destiny and the Blueprint of Your Life by Michelle Buchanan! In the past I have read a number of books about numerology, but they were lacking in substance and very general at best. This book is very comprehensive and I can't think of anything that it does not cover. What is great about how this book is written, is that you can pretty much jump right in and begin calculating your Life Path, Destiny, Soul and Personality numbers. If you've never read anything about numerology, you will find that the directions on how to proceed in finding your numbers is very simple. After you have calculated your various numbers, there are further chapters on their meanings. There's also a chapter on forecasting and timing, as well as a great chapter which covers other numbers in your life, such as changing a name, wanting to find a name for a pet, interpreting house numbers, and wedding day numbers, it's all here. I was totally amazed at how accurate this book was as far as what your career paths are, and describing your personality traits, as well as information about karmic debt numbers. Some of these topics I had never seen in books of this type in the past. I had a lot of fun with the book and also doing the calculations for my family and friends. Make sure you have a large pad and pen ready when you start reading the book, because you'll need it! This is absolutely the best book on this subject I have read so far. Eating in the Light: Making the Switch to Veganism on Your Spiritual Path

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Eating in the Light, Making the Switch to Veganism on Your Spiritual Path by Doreen Virtue and Becky Black, M.F.T., R.D.  There is a surprisingly large amount of information included in such a small book of 148 pages.  This book is a good place to start if you are considering going Vegan.  It covers the reasons a person should consider being a Vegan and addresses some of the myths associated with it. While this is not a recipe book, it does include guidelines, some food substitutions for dairy and meat, and recommended vitamin and mineral supplements.  The book also has food suggestions for children, such as quick and portable snacks, meals and protein sources.  There is a brief section on how various foods have an effect on your chakras and spiritual well being. I was hoping that this topic would have had more information, such as a list of high vibrational foods or foods associated with each chakra, but that was not included in this book.  It does however, give you a small list of GMO foods to avoid, which is helpful, and does give you daily nutritional suggestions. There is a list for how much fat and oils are recommended daily, nuts, seeds and eggs, vegetables , meats breads and proteins. I also liked the chart that listed protein equivelants to plant food.  One warning though to the more sensitive folks out there - the book does talk a little about conditions in slaugherhouses and how some animals are treated.  The book is a quick read that will point you in the right direction without being preachy.  FTC Disclosure: I received this book for free from Hay House Publishing for this review. Assertiveness for Earth Angels, How To Be Loving Instead of "Too Nice"

Doreen Virtue has hit another home run with her latest book,  Assertiveness for Earth Angels, How To Be Loving Instead of "Too Nice".  I think anyone can benefit from this book, whether  you consider yourself an Earth Angel or not. One of the many things I love about this book is how Doreen Virtue relays her own personal struggles in relation to being a sensitive person and her experiences with being walked on and treated badly in the past, and how she has dealt with it. One of my favorite chapters is Toxic Relationships. The chapter covers so many different types of people you may encounter, such as a narcissist, aggressive people, drama queens, etc., and describes their personality traits. It's then explained how these various types of toxic personalities in turn effects you negatively and how to deal with it. Doreen also touches on the different types of angels,  and also has a checklist that describes the traits of Earth Angels and what their purpose here on earth is. She speaks a lot about how to be assertive in daily life and really gets in depth about what being assertive really means. There are chapters about being assertive for example with authority figures and dealing with children who are strong willed Indigos. There's also a section on energy work for Empaths, which includes crystals that can help you with healing.  There are a lot of different topics in this book that will help you with taking your personal control back and dealing with difficult people in your life in a more loving and assertive way. The book is very easy to read and inspiring. I think this is an important book to read for anyone who is a sensitive person or anyone wanting to become more assertive without being aggressive.  I was not financially compensated for this post. I received the book from Hay House for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

Returning to the Lakota Way

Returning to the Lakota Way by Joseph M. Marshall III was a true breath of fresh air! I finished this book over a weekend, as it was an easy and enjoyable read. Joseph Marshall grew up on a Lakota Indian Reservation in South Dakota in the 1950's. He lived with his grandparents and did not have running water or electricity. There are a great many lessons to be learned from this book and it is in no way preachy to anyone, just some good advice and stories. The author speaks with great love, admiration and respect for his Grandparents. He shares stories about what life was like living on the reservation back in the 1950's and makes the comparison to how things are today. He speaks about virtues such as patience, tolerance and kindness, and how these lessons were taught to him and how he witnessed these traits in his family and others in the community. Although the author speaks with fondness about his life with his grandparents, it was sad to hear him speak about the racism he encountered and witnessed as a child. Joseph Marshall is a great story teller and anyone would enjoy reading the stories he tells and although it doesn't go into every detail of the Lakota life and the reservation, it gives you a pretty well rounded insight into the Lakotas and their wisdom and courage. This book would be great for anyone interested in Native American culture and how much great wisdom it teaches.
