Angel Astrology 101:Discover The Angels Connected With Your Birth Chart

As an avid reader of Doreen Virtue's books, I was interested in reading about the subjects of angels and astrology combined.  I have always enjoyed Doreen's angel books and oracle cards, and Angel Astrology 101 did not disappoint.  The introduction does give some history of astrology and how to use the book.  It is best to know your time of birth, but if you don't, the book addresses that, as well as giving suggestions on where to get a free birth chart done to find your sun, moon and rising signs, if you do not already know them.
There are twelve chapters in all, each pertaining to a different zodiac sign and the archangel that is connected with that sign. The planets of Mars, Mercury, Venus, the Moon, Sun and the ascending (rising) sign are listed in each chapter for each zodiac sign, so you can easily reference this information once you have your natal chart. The book did not list all of the planets that come up in your natal chart, but the information that I received was extremely accurate and detailed.  There is also a list of twenty topics relating to each archangel, letting you call upon them for help, regardless of your zodiac sign.  One thing that was puzzling is that in reading a prior review of this book, it gave a web link to a website of Doreen Virtue's where you can get your free natal chart at no cost. I did not see this website listed in the book anywhere. The url is http://www.angelastrology101.com, and I would recommend it if you are seeking your chart. I would highly recommend this book and it was a fun and interesting read.

The Big Book of Angel Tarot: The Essential Guide to Symbols, Spreads, and Accurate Readings

The Big Book of Angel Tarot by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine is a follow up to Doreen's Angel Tarot Cards. As with any of Doreen Virtue's card decks, there is a small book included with deck, which has explanations of every card and directions on use. The Big Book of Angel Tarot is an excellent companion to the deck, providing much more in depth information. The book covers the Major Arcana cards first, then the Minor Arcana cards. Every card in the deck first has a general summary, then there are smaller headings listed below. The Major Arcana chapter is the same as the Minor Arcana, except for The Dreamer's Journey, which is a summary of where a person is in their life right now. The other sections are titled Symbolism, Angel Number and Astrology. The Symbolism section breaks down the details of the card by taking a look at the photo itself and explaining the meanings behind them. The Angel Number section describes how a particular archangel relates to a certain card, and has a numerology interpretation to the number assigned to that particular card. The Astrology section basically explains what zodiac signs, and/or planets are related to each card and the meaning behind it. The book clearly explains how to use your cards and there are examples of several types of card spreads you can use and for what purpose. What I like most about this book is that it makes your card deck very easy to use and the messages are positive. According to the book, this is not just a watered down version of traditional tarot cards, and that is definitely true. The book explains the changes that were made from the original tarot, but the meanings were not changed, just presented differently. This deck is very positive, and the readings are very accurate. I also like the brief history on the beginnings of tarot cards in general. FTC Disclosure: I received this book for free from Hay House Publishing for this review. Beyond Past Lives by Mira Kelley

If you are interested in learning about past life regression, then Beyond Past Lives by Mira Kelley will give you a good basic foundation without being overwhelmed with too much information. The author has included many case studies of past life regressions she has performed on clients. There are exercises that you can do at the end of each chapter such as the Dialogue with Your Higher Self in Chapter 4 and Meditation for Oneness in Chapter 5. I like the way the book is structured, it is easy to read and the information is clearly presented. I was expecting that a book of this type might be more lengthly and difficult to actually learn and then put in to practice. I was pleasantly surprised. I especially loved the Q&A section of the book which addressed alot of questions about what actually happens during a past life regression. It dispels some of the myths and fears people might have if they are considering having their own past life regression. There is also a Past Life Regression Transcript included in the book. With this transcript, you can us it to do your own past life regression. You can record yourself reading it, then play it back or have someone read it to you. You can also use this same transcript to do the Heal Through Regression in Chapter 8 which addresses physical ailments you are looking to release. This is a truly fascinating book, and I learned quite a bit from it. It will help you to heal your body, mind and spirit. Adventures of the Soul by James Van Praagh

Adventures of the Soul, Journeys Through the Physical and Spiritual Dimension by James Van Praagh is indeed a journey for the soul. The book packs a tremendous amount of information in only 159 pages. It is an easy read and the author talks to you as if you were having a conversation with a good friend. There are some touching personal stories James Van Praagh shares with the reader as well, and are given as examples for particular subjects. The book is divided into three parts, the first is titled "What is the Soul?", which has chapters on the body, soul and spirit, near death experiences, astral projection, and the power of thought. The second part is titled "The Soul's Home", which talks about death, the spirit world and reincarnation. The third part is titled "How the Soul Lives in the Physical", with chapters on soul's lessons, soul choices and how to live a soul filled life. At the end of the book there is a section called "Soul Journeys: Guided Meditations", which I really enjoyed. They are actual self guided meditations you can do, such as "healing your soul self", that are quite effective. I learned quite a bit from this book. James Van Praagh tackled a wide variety of tough subjects and explained them well, and communicated them in a positive and inspiring manner. It's a great starting place if you are interested in the afterlife or the spirit world. FTC Disclosure: I received this book for free from Hay House Publishing for this review. Angel Dreams by Doreen Virtue and Melissa Virtue

Angel Dreams by Doreen Virtue and Melissa Virtue is not at all like any dream interpretation books I've read in the past. This book focuses on specific types of dreams, such as angel dreams, passed-over loved ones and animals. The first part of the book deals with how you can better remember dreams, how you can create them. The second part of the book has chapters on basic dream symbols, problem solving dreams, past life dreams, flying and falling dreams, angel messages, nightmares and dreams of deceased loved ones. The book shares stories on each topic from individuals and their experiences. I loved the techniques for creating your own dreams, which include lucid dreaming, the Tibetan Hand Technique, dream incubation and awake dreaming. There's also techniques for flying in dreams. The book also includes interpretations for colors you dream of and the corresponding chakra, and a chapter on angel messages, something I had not seen before. The book is just 150 pages, but it does get right to the point on the various subjects, instead of being long winded and general. I enjoyed the book and would like to see another one like this that is larger and more detailed. I learned a lot from this book, and would highly recommend it. It's a great starting place for anyone interested in knowing more about this topic.

Powerful Spiritual Crystals and Stones

"Out of this world!"

Tektite:

So what exactly is a tektite? The origins of this magical stone have been the subject of debate for many years. One theory is that tektites were formed from volcanic eruptions and the other theory is that tektites were formed from meteorite impacts. Popular opinion generally believes in the latter. When the molten glass matter plummeted to the earth, it cooled and hardened forming various shapes such as teardrops, balls, and dumbells. The word tektite is Greek in origin, literally meaning "molten". Tektites are usually black or brown in color. The stones take on a different texture after they have been polished, appearing much more glossy and smooth. Although they are found all over the world, the largest areas where tektites have been found in in China and Australia.
Tektite is an extremely good meditation stone. It is said that because it is such a high vibration stone, it is useful for extraterrestrial communication and can enhance psychic abilities. It is also used to treat physical illness and is effective in clearing all of the chakras. The stone has a vibration number of 9 and does not need to be charged, as tektites do not retain any negative energy. Tektites are around a 6 or 7 on the hardness scale, making them a favorite for everyday use. I have used tektites during sleep time and  my dreams became more vivid and clear. The stone can also be placed under your pillow with a clear crystal quartz stone to enhance both of the stones qualities. This stone is on my top ten list of recommended crystals for your spiritual journey. Tektites are a truly magical stone, easily earning the title "out of this world".

Find "Your Hidden Symmetry"

Your Hidden Symmetry by author Jean Haner was a very insightful and enjoyable book. The first thing about the book that I absolutely loved was how easy it was to get started. The book is based on the Chinese Nine Star Ki system, which is not at all like traditional numerology. To get started, you need only your birth month, day and year which you look up in the included Nine Star Ki chart. I was really surprised at how accurate the information I received was, not only for myself, but also my family. It covers with very good detail, the positive and negative aspects of one's personality, covers careers and life callings, emotional self, and a very informative chapter by Louise Hay called "Affirmations for Each Stage of Your Journey". I would very highly recommend this book for anyone. You can learn a lot about yourself and others and have some fun while doing it. You will not be disappointed in the depth and detail of the information you'll receive. The book can surely help you on your life's path.
